why i do what i do
many years ago my daughter got engaged, they bought the little diamond ring from a high street jewellers on the friday and unfortunately by sunday evening it was all over, the ring had never even got out of its box...first thing monday it was taken back, it had cost £225, she was offered £25 for it, she left the jewellers in tears with a ring she no longer wanted, i vowed that day i would never buy from a high street jewellers ever again, and i havent...i go to the manufacturers or the wholesalers right in the heart of the birmingham jewellery quarter, i look and feel the items i want to buy, i test the stones and check the hallmarks wether new or second hand to ensure that you , the customer, get the best deals, i love buying and selling jewellery but more than that i love making my customers happy, nothing is too much trouble..xx
WHAT I SELL AND WHAT I DONT SELL
i sell new and second hand, bespoke, hand-made to order...bracelets, chains, charms, torques, pendants, rings, earrings, charm bracelets, i sell rings from very small to nice large sizes but the larger sizes tend to go very quickly but they are all in gold or silver and i have some silver rings with genuine stones in like emerald, tanzanite, ruby, topaz which have diamonds as a secondary stone , new or used for men and women, i dont sell any costume jewellery and i very rarely have and gold with man-made stones....if you have an idea of something you want made then you can join an elite group of customers who have had items made for them, either to replace an item lost or just because they want something a little different or because they cannot buy the size they want....you send me a picture or pictures explaining what you want and i get a quote, these items can take up to 6 weeks to be made but will work out about a third of what you would pay in a shop...xx
DIFFERENCES
the difference between me and a shop is firstly i am cheaper by far and if you live within a 20 mile radius i can always bring items to you to look at with no hard sell, if you want to buy thats good if not, thats ok too, i also do part and full exchange and buy gold, i check the price on the day, weigh it and make an offer, if you are happy with my offer i then test it all....xx
